The Visitor Centre is the gateway to the Thermal Area. It is from the Visitor Centre that tickets for the Thermal Area and Lady Knox Geyser are purchased.

Within the Visitor Centre is the retail area where there is an extensive range of souvenirs and gifts. The Geyser Cafe is a self-serve cafe where a range of hot and cold food and beverage is available with both indoor and outdoor seating.There are 3 disabled parking spaces a drop off and pick up area.

Toilet facilities have provision for disabled persons and for baby changing, Lockers are also available together with a dedicated area for cyclists.

Picnic areas are located directly opposite the Visitor Centre and within the main car park.
